This is War
Battle fight with an encouraging flute
You stand in many dangers of the Front Line
A lot things run through your mind
Will you will be another military statistic or return in victory
Each Soldier has their own story
Sometimes it can be glory
Then there’s another story of War taking one of their own
But your Military commitment should be full blown
You stand behind the RED, WHITE, and BLUE Stripes on your uniform
You are America’s greatness
We as American’s are your witness
America’s war
Your wounds being scars
It’s been said, ‘WAR IS HELL”
War stories the world can tell
You stand proud being considered a Veteran
It doesn’t matter if it is your past or present
You represent America
Your courage and commitment established
The Battle Hymn fits whatever your mission
You are always ready to do battle whatever position
You never know when a War could end
You remain a Soldier and don’t pretend
You fight for America’s Liberty and Freedom
You are guided by wisdom
I salute into everlasting
As Veterans, you are always connected
