In your hovering loneliness, like a tied-up, aspen ham hock, in the grip of your fatty loops, at midnight you still brood within yourself. You listen to the tick-tock of tick-tock drums clicking on your wall clock like a message before you can fall asleep! In the summer you're haunted by the urge to learn to strip naked; you take it apart and try to piece together the rest of your life!

The proud hour of sure, conscious cognition may have passed: constant dread poisons your total wakefulness, and you can no longer risk your vengeful Fate, while it guides your way to Someone who is more important to you than anything else! When have you ever had so much condensed loneliness?! - Every heartbeat can be a wasted fraction of a minute, if you don't learn to grasp the possibilities!

Your fat, chubby penguin body is itself a concentrated prison-house: if you don't listen, you'll rot in all that slop! All thy boyish weeping was a pearl of truth burning in fever, and thou wast not forgiven for remaining a child all the while! For thy cherished dreams, bribed notaries, forged judges, charged a bounty before the tribunals of cultures!

Breathless longings lacked something! With clenched teeth, you could dare to dream big in vain, when you had no worthwhile connections! - Broken every firm, resolute movement thought firm, As a temporary spasm stands between Muscles at work; Balsamic romances of budding Omnipotence long ago abandoned you! Thy unfinished work still surrounds thee; It harasses, vexes thee further! Something-even thyself thou feel'st- Thou oughtest to have done, but the question skips on, unceasingly wavering!
