Imagining myself on the Broadway stage

Captivated and amazed

Speaking words from a rehearsed script

It was happening on the Great White Way Broadway

That is where my dream wanted me to be

My name in lights for all to see

My tomorrow was yesterday

As the music and curtain came up

I felt certain

Perform I did

The finale being the audience applause in approval

Nothing unusual

My moment with a cause

They say if you wish hard enough, dreams do come true

It was a moving moment for me to go through
