  • DEEP CONTEMPLATION

It would be well for the more learned well-headed, cavalier gentlemen, and gentlemanly ladies, if this present céda-time were not a tremendously indifferent, and unlivable hunger-stricken one: which, instead of merit and sympathy, would be content with cheap humanity and luminous thoughts.

That is fully satisfied with the happiness it can find, but knows it is fragile and vulnerable, and longs for real relationships instead of the cheap, fake cakes of merit: that which is still sober and humanly reasonable, and all is proper and well-mannered!

For the path of this present worldly self is now largely guided by boorish stupidity and smiling idiocy, as well as by sectarian rudeness, and between senseless barbarism it tosses and tosses, and if it finds ideas that it wants to innovate, it immediately accepts them, submitting to the hypocritical rules that can be bribed!

Now everyone wants to pinch the glorious positions of power by the ears, while hanging the slave labour on the necks of others, or to revel in successes, even clinging to the selling out of human personalities for days on end: in the small-style give-and-take relationships of selling oneself, in the impatience of the sponging.

Now would be such a good time for free-thinking, brainwashing-less people. Who could not forge sure alliances on the open side of interests, protections, sympathies - but would always stand by each other as morality-keeping faithful friends!

And to see how the crowd, demanding a talmudic sensation, daily brings with it new aspirations, new faith, and in the shell-maze of incubators the cry of the defenceless new-born is caught up - therefore it would be good and expedient if man could be man again, and not like a wild beast, a raging bull, just freed from his cage!
