BE SURE

Nothing surprises me anymore! I listen to the wailing of the teddy-boy-voices 24 hours a day behind the doors of the world, but I only reserve my cherished, cherished rage to erupt again as a volcano. How did we get here?! 

Is there no other way to defend myself but with a proud and indifferent vulgarity?! For now it is given to have smiling idiots, who lightly laugh at the faculty of reasoning, whose chief vocation is to nod like babbling sheep, like those cheap and inexpensive Johns, - or to whisper half-truths in each other's ears until the part becomes mere truth; to cause cultural brain-blindness by universal obscurity and obfuscation, by the ever rarer use of the gears of the brain! 

Verily, the real bitter truth is this! Nothing surprises me now! Nor is it that in truth the unselfish and perhaps willing help, because of the cunning of some, is forced to wander in the deepening trenches of abysses, and those who, desiring to bandage everything, are healing the wounds of the world, are serving their time in the world, and then forgotten. 

He who selflessly is by your side, Willingly clutching your sweating heart, When nightmares in the evening torment you, And not crippling the more vulnerable the more defenceless! - Truly I say, nothing surprises me now in this somewhat sickly and recklessly out-of-balance world, Where, instead of the candle-light of reason, Interest-drowsy instincts battle bloodily with each other. Who would squander what is to be seen and preserved, heedless of all that is to be seen and preserved! 

The only refuge in clever human existence is now the gritty self-preservation of the free-thinkers! - Surely nothing can surprise us now as gallantly as the human evil-measure of the vile, further developable in business!
