  • CIVIL RIGHTS ARMGEDDON BY ANTHONY CHARLES BLAKE

    I Stand

    My voice my Demand

    Standing for all

It seems, you wonder my words

    I deserve to be heard

    I am exercising my rights

    Prepared for a fight

Your opposition like a violet storm

I am not alarmed, but will continue to push on

Dr. Martin Luther King, Medgar Evers, Congressmen John Roberts and many others who educated me

    It’s knowledge that stood out

    My reason for moving about

Beyond the shadows and into the marvelous light

    Not frightened and shaken

    I speak extensions

    A presenter of persuasions

Words greater than anyone could imagine

    Several letters at one time

    Genuine

Truth is what I stand for

    No hesitation

    Representation

    Marked because of my Race

    Ran because of a Chase

    Broken promises

Told numerous times, I nothing to offer

    Prove you wrong

    Destiny and Sincerity

    My reality

    Onward in forward

You say why do I live?

    Privilege

    Why do I stand?

    Honor

All Grace and Mercy from God

    Motivation keeps me inspired

Race barriers make me sick and tired

I will not stop and expire

    I will pull through

    Pursue

    The battle in begun

    Sustaining among

    Never Ending fight

Through the Valley’s, Rivers and Mountains

    Who I am

    Proven with understanding

    Remember my words

    Ever After
