Cinderella's Calloused Soul's

The shoe it was not dropped 

She purposely threw the snare

Daring better to be barefoot

In the land of trademark and despair

The shoes they do adorn and sparkle so to see

The bare footed soul better to wander all the land and the sea

It pretty to look at while you look down to the ground

You loose the focus downward when Heaven is all around

Cinderella you can choose has always been her choice

That being said bare feet are twice as nice

We caught her in the snow with her bare calloused feet that day

She was happy and the snow melted where it was she did play

The first we could think was wow skitzo needs a shrink

Of course then temptation over took us all..............

So we too took to the feet

The essence and madness when connected where you stand

Intrigued even the biggest disbeliever in all situations

Be it water hot pavement grass and even sand

Disconnected souls somehow were regrounded

In the happy place they stood

Unbranded by a label or a name they now could
