    Dark, dark Mornings!

    Winters here!

    The dark mornings and nights

    Appear!

Nice when you can cosy up at home in bed!

    Instead !

Off to work in the dark, dark world,

It’s a different place in the dark,

    Nothing seems the same,

    Bright headlights blind me

    As I go!

Mine too I guess, I know!

    Passing the lorries

    Tight squeeze,

Don’t move too close oh please, please, please

    Scary passing them by

And with the spray from the lorries on a wet, wet day

Visibility isn’t too great I would say,

No it’s pretty hairy out there!

And I’m in a state there's no debate,

Roll on the spring and summer

Because winter time is hard to negate!

on the road early morning and late!

    Collateral

    When something is surplus

    Then there is collateral !

Just like when I eat chocolate

    And the stoneage rolls on,

And the spare tire becomes dire!

    And then it's no fun!

So when something is not needed

    we just get rid!

like the rubbish in the bin

    hidden under the lid!

collateral loss that's what it is!

    So then comes the action

    That we have to take

Eating that chocolate was a big mistake

Now I have to pay for it

    weight must be lost

    Collateral at a cost!

For me there will be no cake!

    No more chocolate

    Make no mistake!
