FREE SPIRIT...

Waltzing together, through fields of green, each of us, searching for fun,

Retracing steps, where ancestors stood, as shadows grow under the sun,

Facing the challenges, destiny set, placed on the road up ahead,

Accepting all, we're expected to take, in seeking our daily bread.

Side step together, avoiding a hazard, less we are burdened by strife,

Each accepting, the easiest route, to place us ahead during life,

Hurdles are placed, testing our strength, all jump together with me,

If we don't overcome, problems we face, how can we ever be free.

Marching together, each of us proud, facing the world with a smile,

Those who learn, to rise from a crowd, have their particular style,

Fight to remain, ahead of the game, with feet firmly set on the ground,

Accepting, with grace, and a modest approach, the status in life, you have found.

........

Follow the path, which leads to the light, never be tempted by dark,

Avoiding the pitfalls, lurking ahead, which threaten to leave a bad mark,

Options we take, are of our choice, be careful when crossing the road,

Acting in haste, could prove a mistake, as others unburden their load.
