Our feet walk on streets,
of history,
all sorts
Standing in a place,
under your feet,
memory street,
a time capsule
Close your eyes,
years and, Centuries,
have covered,
pavements and, skies
The East End,
a cultural feast
Petticoat Lane,
a fashion reign
Spitalfields, cafes, bars,
vintage handcrafted goods,
artwork, fashion,
jewellery if you wish,
public art and, events,
are resident

as I walked past,
no debate
this pavement time,
saw some crime
The Ten Bells creates,
a certain vision and, rhyme,
that I can see every time
