Crying In Color

When I lay in

My bed

To write you a poem 

I can imagine

You laying In yours

When you read my poem ,

Baby my bed is simple and

As ordinary as most,

But yours is special. 

Special because only 

In your bed that I can hear 

Your heart whispering 

It’s colorful music in my ear

Only in your bed that your smile 

can double as my light 

To show me how to hold back tears 

Baby, only in your bed as I lay in your arms can I ever imagine crying in color and painting myself a sweeter world.
