It's as if the thinking brain circuits had started to become encased on purpose; they don't want to ask questions, speak up, understand connections anymore, just the big smelly cottage cheese crumbs that remain. "How to proceed?" - it may seem like - there are fewer and fewer people who would even want to help in a selfless way, and not just line their own pockets.
