There are people in the world today, who take more than they give,

Seeking out the easy route, by which they choose to live,

Ignoring needs of others, in need of warmth and care,

Acting purely for themselves, as though they’re unaware.

Without thought or compassion, for those in dire need,

Driven by a selfish streak, to satisfy their greed,

People with deep pockets, who often go astray,

When the round on order, was theirs in turn, to pay.

Accepting many favours, they give none in return,

Losing their acquaintances, as people come to learn,

Burdens, placed on shoulders, are all they seem to share,

As they weave a selfish route, acting without care.

In society, there are people, who choose an easy life

Those who seek to burden, others, with their daily strife,

Losing many friendships, as to the way they live,

Never understanding.... you get, all that you give......
