MIDNIGHT EXPRESS..

By shadow of night, the midnight express,

A mighty machine, designed to impress,

With passengers gathered, safely on board,

Into the distance, the mighty beast roared.
...

All pistons pulsating, she thundered along,

With steam creating a pressure so strong,

Stoking the coal, like a phantom possessed,

No time for the crew, in taking a rest
....

Speeding through valleys, set on a course,

Approaching a bridge, to carry her force,

Passing by homes, with children asleep,

Into the valleys, where rivers run deep.
....

Gripping the rails, letting off steam,

Power produced by Stevensons dream,

Raging with fire, fulfilling her need,

Racing through tunnels at maximum speed
....

Nearing the city, her station in sight,

Crowds await, as people alight,

Camera lights flicker, passengers board,

Into the distance, the mighty beast roared.....
