    Stop Rape

They say it is the devil,

The influence of alcohol and marijuana.

some claim it is the provocation of obscenity in womanhood’s dressing and Steps.

Yet they even devour on infants.

    And sometimes animals.

    Manhood has lost sanity.

    Motherland once was merry.

Men’s hands only meant for an axe,

A hoe, and mostly for defense.

    But not on this essence.

    The “she”, is a prey,

    And “he”, the scavenger.

    What a disgrace.

    Imagine it was your daughter,

    Your mother or your wife.

Pinned to the ground while her middle carrying both pain and weight of the world.

What sin did womanhood commit that even a wail is given a deaf ear?

And effort clipped to the ground.

please put this madness to an end.

Mother Malawi, it is a shame that you champion this.

    Rape is on your tape,

    Playing a sorrowful song.

Why killing your own veins for water yet blood awaits just a knock on the door?

    Wake up mama!!

    Let’s fight this immaturity.

So what are you people waiting for?

    Join me, join us,

    come one, come all.

Climb on the top of sapitwa and shout your lungs out.

    STOP RAPE!!

Take it deep in you as we share the pain together.

Immorality isn’t a sign of maturity so I come to quench it like stray bush fires.

    Malawi must heal.
