THE BEACH...

As oceans meet a golden beach,

I search for dreams, within my reach,

Gentle waves caress my feet,

Strangers share a friendly greet.

........

Forever one to look ahead,

Free from all that caused my dread,

The past is better left behind,

Casting shadows from my mind.

The sun, reflected on the sea,

Provokes a sense of mirth in me,

As I view her golden rays,

I look ahead to better days.

......

Echoes of a distant roar,

Power, nature holds in store,

The calming of a gentle breeze,

Presents me with a life of ease.

......

Shells appear upon the sand,

Travellers from a foreign land,

Swept ashore by fearsome waves,

Which once sent Pirates, to their graves.

........

Families, with their dogs to walk,

Often share the time to talk,

As they pass the time of day,

Enjoying all that comes their way.

.......

Starfish, stranded on the beach,

Appear as dreams within my reach,

Gentle waves caress my feet,

Blessed by all who shared my greet...
