Afternoon Tea

Afternoon tea,
just for you, and me 
Claridge's, Mayfair,
perhaps a woodland, 
cabin that is fare,
but still thinking Mayfair,
we could create a setting here,
just the two of us,
my dear
Deep in the woodland,
no combustible fair,
sandwiches cut delicately,
into fingers,
my dear,
scones with clotted cream, 
and, jam, sweet pastries, 
and, cakes
Is your mind thinking, 
of the benefit stakes, 
or the woodland humdrum
So long as running water,
is there for me hun,
yes dear,
lots of lakes, and streams,
on this land,
you will see Mayfair,
when you relax, sit, 
and, not stand.
