    DOCTOR OF THE HOUSE

    Welcome M'sleur, sit yourself down,
Roll up your sleeve, get rid
    of that frown
As for the rest awaiting in
    line
Wait a bit longer and you
    will be fine.

    Seldom do you see
    A vaccine given for free
    Queuing in the church
    hall
    At half-past three.

    Doctor of the house, doling
    out his charm,
    Have it in your buttock
    or in your arm,
    Just a little prick, might
    be a bit sore,
    Fifty people queuing by
    the front door.

Glad to do you all a
    favour,
    Doesn't cost me to be
    nice.
This is just the first one -
    Please be sure to have
    it twice.

    Doctor of the house, nurses
    full of charm,
    Looking for a good vein
    in my left arm.
    Feeling right as rain, no
    need to complain.
    Church halls overcrowded
    as it starts to rain.

    Everybody loves the
    doctor,
    Everybody's bosom friend,
    Doing what he pleases
    Jesus! He'll jab you in
    the end.

    Doctor of the house,
    must not skip the queue,
    Let's just hope the doctor
    knows what to do,
Here to help us all, try
    to win the fight,
    With the Covid vaccine
    well we all just might.

    Everybody's favourite
    doctor,
    Everybody's bosom
    friend
    Giving out the vaccine
To help us in the end.
