  • TO ESCAPE MENTAL ILLNESS

    You can run and hide

    and admire the calm

    sea tide

    You can have a friend

    by your side

    But you cannot get

    away

    For mental illness is

    out to cause you mass

    dismay.

    You feel so worthless

    as you lose interest

    to live

So you now go on a

    mission - your enemies

    you forgive.

    You feel low and isolated

    and you wish to end

    your life

    Because mental illness

    is causing you so much

    strife.

    There is no hope as

you just want to be set

    free

    So you plan your exit

    as soon as you've had

    your tea.

    Your feelings are at

    rock bottom - you only

    want to get away

    You care nothing of

    your friends and family -

    you're suffering so much

    dismay.

    You have no zest for

life - and you see no

    hope for you at all,

    You once were very

    happy - walking ten

    feet tall!

    Your journey's end is

    now here - peace is

    almost here,

    You see the place of

    heaven - as you shed

    a little tear.

    This life is a wretched

    one - the media is

    to blame

My life is now over - or,

    is it just a game?

    Some people say; talk

    to someone - oh, yes,

    it is that easy,

    You're dying inside your

body - it really is so

    crazy.

But there is no light at

the end of my plight -

    the loneliness is there

It is time for me to go

    now - I seriously do

    not care.

    My time on earth is

    now complete I go to

    a better place,

    Up to Heaven is my

    quest - to escape the

    human race.
