THE WATERFALL OF LIFE

(I dedicate my poem to all

true believers. May God truly

bless you. Amen.) 

The waterfall of life,
shall quench the 
thirst, which is rife,
For the thirst of the
mind does say;
"drink and thou shall
save a life?"

The water is pure - 
and so sweet,
It tastes so good - 
it really is neat.
The father, our God,
has blessed the water - 
Just for us - as we
now drink, as we 
oughta!

In desperation, the
body does wander,
But forsaking the lord,
is only in slumber?
We all need guidance - 
and a shoulder for
support,
That shoulder, I feel,
is the support, I do
sought? 

To cleanse the soul,
is all I wish,
Then take a taste, of
that glorious dish!
The dish of food - 
given from the lord,
Is blessed upon us - 
fresh from the lord's
word?

So rejoice, in thy
soul - and the lord will
love you,
Never again, will the 
pain hurt the few?
Just trust in the father - 
and the holy spirit,
And happiness too - 
will be yours, I swear
it.

Love thy neighbour,
as best you will,
And the praise of the 
lord - will be a thrill?
Never again, will you
feel any strife,
As you cleanse your
soul - in the waterfall
of life!
