Words responded to me and stated, “You have come a long way”

A journey through the pains and struggles

Inspiration was never easy

A road of torment like fire

Burning deep and raging wild

No one had any idea

Emotions were on fear

I refused to let what I felt out

Somewhere somehow my destiny is circling all around me

Storms come but stay awhile

I feel trapped within my own time zone being nowhere

What was strength has become weak

What was assured is now doubt

My heart throb has no enthusiasm

My mind blinded

Darkness seeing no light

What direction to I take?

I can’t stop now, but must push on

Standing alone

Even my tears wonder

My soul has gone yonder

My dreams are now my nightmares

They are all frights

Stuck and drawn

Perhaps being an overlap

The Night stars laugh

The Moon refuses to shine

My tomorrow was yesterday

Time expired

Tomorrow came and went
