NEWS: Writing is something, which can't be told...

  • Shadow

In the mirror's shade, a shadow dwells,
    Silent, unmoving, where darkness swells.
Behind the glass, a specter stands,
A cold breath whispers, like ghostly hands.

Close my eyes, its presence near,
A shiver runs as whispers leer.
Hair stands on end, in fear's embrace,
    A phantom's grip, a chilling trace.

Persistent, it lingers, an unyielding shade,
No escape found, in light or in fade.
Powerless, I yearn for a hidden retreat,
In the corners of darkness, where shadows meet.
