  • THE SAD LITTLE STAR

The little star in the sky,

    'Why do you so visibly

    cry?'

'I am all alone and very

    sad,

    I miss my mother and

    my dad.'

    The star wasn't shining

    like it should

    The sky was darker as

    the darkened wood.

    The Earth was turning

    round as normal

    But the little star was

    feeling abnormal.

    The moon was concerned

    this was rare,

    The sun also thought;

'let's show we all do care.'

    So the moon gave the

    star a guiding light,

As the sun was sleeping -

    wow what a sight.

    The sun then woke up

    and the moon was tired

    Both of them thought

    they'd retired!

    They showed the light

    to shine afar

    And this made magic -

    for that little sad star.
